Common esports markets
Esports are competitive video game tournaments. Which titles and events are available changes over time, so check the Sports section in your account. Typical market types include the following.
| Market | What you predict |
|---|---|
| Match winner | Which team or player wins the series |
| Map or game winner | Who wins a single map or game within a series |
| Handicap | The result after maps or rounds are added to or taken from a side |
| Total maps or rounds | Whether the total is above or below a set line |
| Outright | The winner of a whole tournament, where offered |
How to place an esports bet
- Register, verify your account and deposit at least €10.
- Open the Sports section and look for Esports.
- Select a match and a market and add it to the bet slip.
- Enter your stake, check the potential return and confirm.
Before betting, look at recent form, the format of the series (best of one, three or five) and any roster changes. Read the market rules for how forfeits, delays and technical issues are handled.
Live betting basics
Esports matches move quickly, and prices can change after a single round or objective. Markets may be suspended at short notice, and live availability depends on the event. Stay disciplined: set your stake in advance and do not increase it to win back a loss.
Bet responsibly
- Betting is for adults only (18+) and is a form of entertainment.
- Set a budget and a time limit, and never chase losses.
- Do not bet on a team only because you support them; read the market first.
- BeGambleAware and GamCare offer free, confidential help.
